Welcome Aboard Crew!
Joining the Crew is more than a summer job, it’s a meaningful experience that builds lifelong skills. Crew Members gain real-world work experience, develop leadership and teamwork skills, enjoy a strong social community, daily meals and snacks, and access to the Staff Lounge. Additional opportunities include extra paid work, event and rental roles, Street Team ambassador positions, and earning volunteer or community service hours, all within a supportive, fun, and connected camp community.
What’s Next?
There are several important requirements that must be completed by all Crew Members, with the most critical being the submission of Staff Forms through your Camp In Touch account or the Campanion App. These forms include a mandatory physical exam dated within the past year and, for those under 18, valid Working Papers. Completing these documents provides essential information that allows us to prepare for the summer and ensures full compliance with governing regulations.

Essential Onboarding Information
Onboarding Process
Staff members with a pending offer will receive an email with instructions to complete their onboarding documents. Each staff member is provided with a unique access code to enter our secure electronic onboarding portal, and all required documents must be completed before an employment contract is signed. As part of our hiring process, a sex offender background check is conducted for all pending employees.
Contract Signing
Pending staff members will receive a link to schedule an in-person contract signing appointment. Staff members under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at this appointment. During the meeting, each staff member will meet with a Camp Director to review compensation details, employment dates, and important camp policies and procedures.
Staff Documents
Rolling River uses Camp In Touch as our electronic document portal. Staff members can log in using the same email address and password used for their application, and may also access forms and documents through the Campanion App, which is directly connected to Camp In Touch and uses the same login credentials.
In accordance with Board of Health requirements, all staff members must complete a physical examination and submit a medical form dated within the past year. All employee handbooks, calendars, and menus are also posted on the portal and will be reviewed during Staff Orientation.
Staff Orientation
Staff members should carefully review their employment contracts for important Staff Orientation dates and times. Rolling River offers on-site First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, with group counselors, waterfront staff, and Health Center staff required to maintain current certifications—registration details and links will be sent via email. Staff interested in enrolling in subsidized lifeguarding or bus driver courses should contact the Camp Office for additional information and registration details.
